About Dr. Hennie Nel

Dr. Hennie Nel has been caring for women’s health since 1981, with a special focus on Obstetrics and Gynaecology. With decades of experience and a genuine dedication to his patients, he is committed to providing safe, professional, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• MBChB – University of Pretoria, 1973

• FCOG (SA) – Fellow of the College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, 1979

• MMed (O&G) – Master of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, 1980

In 2014, Dr. Nel was honoured with a Certificate of Long-Standing Membership by the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa, recognizing more than 30 years of trusted service.

Experience and Care
Dr. Nel opened his private practice in 1981 and has since guided over 15,000 families through safe deliveries. He has also been at the forefront of women’s health surgery, performing his first laparoscopy in 1990 and his first laparoscopic-assisted vaginal hysterectomy (LAVH) in 1995.
